The Town of Shelburne's skateboard park was built in 2004/2005.
The park is located on King Street near the site of the old Shelburne Regional High School.
The land is owned by the Town of Shelburne.
The skatepark was developed as a joint venture between the Town and Our House Youth Wellness Centre.
The park was designed and built through staff and volunteers at  the Youth Wellness Centre.
The park has a 50 x 50 foot concrete slab and a number of pieces of equipment contructed by Our House.
The wooden half-pipe was donated to the park by Ted Siegel.
Funding to date has been provided by the Town, the Department of Health Promotion and Protection and fundraising by Our House
The Town's Parks and Recreation Department monitors and inspects the equipment regularly and reports any repairs needed to the Youth Wellness Centre.
