The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining Town streets, the sewer system, snow removal, trees, etc.

Port of ShelburneThe Port of Shelburne, Shelburne Marine Terminal (SMT), is owned and operated by the Town of Shelburne. The Town created the Shelburne Port Authority (SPA) to administer the terminal and related activity. The Shelburne Port Authority is currently governed by a Board of Directors comprised of four councillors from the Town of Shelburne and one councillor from the Municipality. The Chair of the Board is Mayor P. Comeau.
The day to day management of the facility is provided by the Port Manager, Don Faye. Mr. Faye also has the responsibility as the Marine Facility Security Officer (MFSO) of the Shelburne Port Authority. The Town of Shelburne currently provides the necessary administrative support for the Port’s activities.
